Spring is officially here!

Hi everyone, so today is officially the first day of Spring!

This means daffodils blooming, lambs and chicks being born, spring showers (with hopefully some sunshine) and of course Easter is just around the corner!

Baby animals are born during spring and of course we have focused our attention on that. Sheep have their lambs in spring as they need to eat lots of fresh grass so they can make milk for their lambs. Sheep can have up to four lambs at a time but mostly have one or two. The same goes for other animals being born in spring. There needs to be enough food available for the young, and warmer weather and regular rainfall means plants such as grass are able to grow well.
