I am an Umbrellabird. We umbrellabirds (although we are scientifically known as Cephalopterus) are found in rainforests in Central and South America. We are almost entirely black and have a noticeable crest on top of our head, which looks like an umbrella (hence the name). We make loud booming calls to each other. We eat lots of fruit, insects and small vertebrates (e.g. lizards). Our breed of bird are a threatened species due to our unfortunate habitat loss.
