I’m a Tiger and I am the biggest species of the cat family. There are several types of tiger: Sumatran Tiger, Siberian Tiger, Bengal Tiger, South China Tiger, Malayan Tiger and Indochinse Tiger. Many of these subspecies are either endangered or already extinct. You will find me on the continent of Asia in grasslands, forests and swamps. A male Tiger is called a Tiger, a female a Tigress and a baby a Cub. I am a carnivore and I like to hunt for prey at night. I have great eyesight for seeking out and catching prey. Unlike many other cats, I like water and I can swim up to 4 miles and my roar can be heard over 2 miles away. Like human fingerprints, no two Tigers have the same striped pattern on our fur. Not only is my fur stripy, but my skin is also stripy too.
