I am an octopus and I can be found in the shallow waters of tropical, subtropical and temperate areas worldwide. We have eight very long limbs that are attached from a round shaped head. We have two rows of suckers on our tentacles that trap our prey and also can sense taste. It is commonly believed that the octopus's appendages were all arms however recent studies have proved that of our limbs act more as legs. This allows us to walk easily across the sea floor. We also have the ability to regrow a tentacle if we lose one.
