Lassie is the short story of a fictional rough collie character that was later expanded into a full-length novel called Lassie-Come-Home. Lassie was then made into a TV series in 1954 about the collie and her human and animal companions. In 2005, Lassie was then made into a film featuring the dog embarking on an adventorous journey miles away from home. Lassie is a great story for any dog lover.
