Kangaroo
Hi I'm a kangaroo, there are four species of kangaroo altogether and you will find me in the country Australia. The largerst species of kangaroo is called the red kangaroo, which can grow up to 2 metres. We are the only large animal to use hopping as our way of getting around. Our long legs enable to us to jump so high that in one leap we can reach up to 3 metres high. Our babies are called Joeys and they sit inside our pouches which are located at the front of our tummy's. We have excellent hearing and like some other animals, we are able to move our ears in different directions without moving our heads. Did you know there are more kangaroo's in Australia than there are humans?
