“All my life has revolved around animals, and 'animal talking' is a natural next step. I communicate with animals by connecting telepathically. I've always been emotionally linked to animals; sensing their pain, and picking up their joy, but I didn't realise that they were actually 'passing' this information to me.” – Jackie Weaver.

Jackie Weaver is one of the UK’s leading animal psychics. Her work with animals started when she became a veterinary nurse and now she has become the voice for animals all over the world.

Jackie has been able to hear animals all her life but didn’t truly understand she was hearing them until 2007 when she was taught by another animal communicator how to actually tune in with an animal, and then it all made sense to her.

 Jackie has been very successful over the years appearing in magazines, newspapers, television and radio shows. She now has three books published, which make up her animal physic collection and in 2010 she became best-selling author on Amazon.

Her fascinating work with animals has left many asking the question ‘can we really communicate with animals?’

Describing what it first felt like for her when she realised she could communicate with animals, Jackie said: “It is a moment etched in my mind forever. To actually ask for information and receive it, I still have to pinch myself at how lucky I am to be able to give animals a voice.”

Jackie was invited to be a guest on the Paul O’Grady show which she says is her biggest highlight up to yet: “To be invited on the Paul O’Grady show and chat to him, his dog and also Hugh Bonneville’s dog on the show too was a highlight of my career.”

Jackie describes herself as a sort of ‘animal behaviourist’ however the way in which she receives information is from their mind, not by studying their body language and behaviour.

“On the spiritual side, a medium is passed over people. I choose to connect with animals for their owners, not people.”

Many people would love to have the gift of being able to hear animals talk, but what is it that Jackie herself finds most satisfying about being in the profession?

“I give animals a voice when they need one. It also gives the chance for them to say what they want to their loving owners.”

Shed added: “To also connect to spirit animals can do so much to take away the grief and pain that many owners experience, I am honoured to do that.”

There are no particular animals that Jackie has a better connection with however she states that the more interaction an animal has with a person, the more they would usually have to say. Jackie says: “Some are so cheeky and funny- I do spend a lot of time laughing.”

For those of us that would love to hear animals talk, we might ask what would they want to say? Animals can be hilarious at times so surely they have some funny things to say too?

“The funniest thing an animal has ever said to me is ‘I can still hear with them on’ which was the answer I received when I asked a horse what he thought of his blinkers!”

Through out her career as an animal psychic, Jackie has communicated with many animals, including celebrities’ pets. She explained what her one memorable moment was: “The most poignant was from a spirit dog. He said, ‘it is not ‘rest in peace’ it is ‘rest in party- can you imagine the reunions that go on here?’  I have shared this with so many people and it really does help people to look at it like that one day they too will have that reunion.”

Jackie has been very successful in her career of animal communication and admits that if she hadn’t continued her work of being an animal psychic, she would definitely still be working in animals some way.

In 2005 Jackie faced her biggest challenge when she was diagnosed with cancer. She wasn’t expected to survive but pulled through and beat her disease. She believes she was saved for a reason: “ I truly believe that we come in with a date to go out, and it was not my time but my illness certainly did change my life.”

“That is when my mind opened up and I became aware of a whole new world, here and beyond.”
